Weekend Bee Bath Workshop
Learn some basic mosaic techniques to create
a bee bath for your garden.
Saturday, August 22, 9.30am - 4pm
and
Sunday, August 23,10am - 1pm
7 Windermere Tce, Paynesville
Join Fin in her comfortable, air-conditioned studio-with-a-view and learn some basic mosaic techniques to create
a bee bath using ceramic or glass tiles, complete with a
3D flower bee stool.

What you will learn
How to cut and shape glass or ceramic tiles.
How to design a pleasing pattern to attract precious bees to drink.
How to make a separate 3D flower.
What substrates can be used for mosaics.
What adhesives to use – and how.
What you will achieve:
At the completion of the workshop, you will take home a finished bee bath. Sunday's session will be devoted to grouting and completing your 3D flower, which can be used in your bee bath, or taken home to apply to another item such as a flower pot.
NB: Please note that bees don't actually bath. Your finished item is really a drinking receptacle, and the bee stoll enables them to drink without drowning.
What to do and bring:
The workshop cost includes all tools and materials.
Don’t wear your best clothes – make sure you’re comfortable.
NB: Workshop cost includes Saturday lunch. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.
COST
$160.00
Please note that workshop will be limited to eight people, so get in early. If you can't make it to this workshop, stay tuned as another will be advertised soon.
NB: When booking, please include your phone number in the 'Add a note box' of your shopping cart, as I usually confirm bookings or advise of any changes via text message.
NB: If you're travelling from further afield, I can offer B&B-style accommodation for two partipants at $80 ea per night. Feel free to contact me for further details.
